General FAQ
How do I run the QSimulate Platform (QSP) GUI-based modules?
Each module can be run from a GUI interface that runs within a modern browser, such as Chrome. You can run the GUI from any platform (PC, Mac, tablet, even a phone) that supports the browser, although the experience may be inferior on very small or low-resolution devices (e.g., a phone).
Can I run QSP modules from the command line, if I prefer?
Yes. Many of our modules also offer command line (CLI) access.
Where can I find the manuals for each QSP module?
Documentation is included in the GUI of every QSP module deployment for convenience while using the platform. There is a link labeled ‘documentation’ at the top right corner of the page. This opens a hyperlinked and searchable manual for that module. Manuals can also be found as PDFs on the webpage.
What happens to my calculations if I log off, or lose my internet connection?
They keep running! QSP employs a scheduler that manages all of your calculations even while you are away.
What makes the QSP platform unique?
All the QSimulate modules are built upon proprietary quantum mechanics code that we have developed to combine state-of-the-art functionality with unmatched performance. This code allows us to be the first provider of QM-centric software with true pharma relevance and turnaround.
